One of our five #WorldCMLDay celebrations in India was at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) on 21st September 2019. A very reputed hospital catering to needs of patients from Andhra Pradesh and Telengana , NIMS continues its tradition of the last five years to observe World CML Day in its premises.
More than A hundred CML patients participated in the event along with physicians Dr. K. Manohar (Director, NIMS), Dr. Sadashivudu (Medical Oncology) and the FOM Hyderabad City Chapter Leaders. Keeping this year’s World CML Day theme ‘Today, together, for a CML free World’, physicians emphasised on drug compliance, drug availability and its side effects.
The day’s event ended with a cake cutting ceremony.
