” In my opinion, these meetings are so important that they should be conducted every three months. It gives a chance to the patients and their families to get together with each other and with the physicians. We get to learn so many things about CML, both new information and what we need to follow regularly. At this meeting the physicians told us two key things- to take our medicines on time every day and getting a BCR ABL test done every six months. These are the most important things that patients living with CML must do. I also feel more and more patients should become a part of Friends of Max and The Max Foundation so that they too can benefit from the support.”
