19th October, 2011 was celebrated as Max’s Birthday. Well, we all wait for this day hen we step into the month of October. Here in the MI office the responsibility of decorating the office was given to the three of us – Leenata , Melissa and myself . We were very much thrilled and super excited.
All our brains had started generating creative designs and patterns. The theme was same as last year – blue and white. The whole office was decorated with blue and white satin ribbons and balloons.
And not forgetting the bird, our own Sparrow of Hope , each one of us took the effort of making cut outs the Sparrow.. We had colorful versions the birds glued to our boards and desktops and even the balloons
On the day of celebration the spirit of our loving Max was felt all around. Each one of us had Max’s picture in our room with flower garlands on it and candles lit around. During the cutting of the cake,
we had all the brave hearts (patients) with us. Amma gave a short brief about Max’s life. They all praised and had good thoughts for each one of us at the MI office.
All the patients were very happy of having been a part of this celebration. And each one of them shared so much as to how well they are treated when they visit our office and how nice they feel when they talk to us. The praises were never ending. This made us feel very special and more responsible. Each MaxStation introduced themselves and also shared how much we also learn from our dear patients.
I can say that everyone was touched by Max.
