Key highlights:
Education, Connection and Exchange were the key areas of focus of the Patient Engagement Summit. The objective was to develop solutions to the roadblocks preventing equal access to optimal care for all patients with cancer in the Asia-Pacific Region.
Through insightful lectures and interactive workshops, the summit provided a very unique opportunity to exchange knowledge, build networks and show the way ahead to enhance patients’ engagement in their own care.
As one of the oldest and largest Patient Support Group for CML, MPN and GIST, Friends of Max is very appreciative of and grateful for ESMO’s commitment to putting patient care at the forefront thereby strengthening patient autonomy.
Looking ahead we hope to continue strengthening and expanding FOM’s leadership in the patient advocacy landscape.
