Viji Venkatesh, FOM Managing Trustee and Member, Board of Directors, The Max Foundation, had the pleasure and honour of participating online, in the Round Table discussion during the London Global Cancer Week on “Financing Cancer Services Worldwide” on Wednesday, 26th November 2025.
This high-level roundtable brought together approximately 25 leading figures from governments, global health institutions, financing agencies, philanthropy, academia and civil society to explore how cancer services can be financed effectively, efficiently and equitably in a post-aid era.
During the two-hour-session, the participants
· Assessed the current cancer financing landscape and
· Explored opportunities to increase domestic resource mobilisation
· Develop innovative financing models and
· Build global solidarity mechanisms to ensure equitable access to cancer care for all
