What better way to honour the memory of Max, the inspiration behind our mission, than by coming together with our physician partners, Friends of Max Trustees and dedicated patient & caregiver City Chapter Leaders at FOM’s Leadership Summit in Kolkata on 8-9 March 2025?
Thirty four years ago we lost Max, at the age of 17, after being diagnosed with CML at just 14. Today, The Max Foundation and its Support Arm in India, Friends of Max, continue to serve as a beacon of hope for those living with CML and GIST, two rare cancers affecting patients in India and around the world.
At the Leadership Summit 85 City Chapter Leaders from across India came together at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata. It was a time to reignite our commitment to Max’s legacy and our cause.
Joining us virtually was Pat Garcia-Gonzalez CEO The Max Foundation, who shared her message with the FOM family.
Over two days, with passion and purpose, we brainstormed, exchanged ideas, on how to tackle challenges and shape a future roadmap, one that strengthens the support and brings more #hopeanddignity to those living with CML & GIST and on lifelong treatment.
As we honour Max’s memory, we step forward with renewed determination to make an even greater impact in the lives of those who matter most.
