Growing up in Manjeri and Kasaragod in the heart of God’s Own Country (Kerala) has its advantages. The surrounding serenity taught FOM Volunteer of the Month (May 2019) Ravikumar P. humility and patience and a willingness to understand others — qualities that have stood him in good stead for Friends of Max.
Deeply involved in FOM’s network in various cities across the country: FOM Kerala and FOM Dharwad, his dedication is apparent. He has been equally at home with the poor and needy plus with articulating and executing the Kerala Chapter’s objectives.
He walks the talk. Overcoming the shock of a CML diagnosis in 2001, he became a member of FOM from 2004, and has risen above his own situation juggling his time between family (wife Sreelaja and son Arjun are the anchors in his life), a private sector job, hobbies (travelling and music) and being a dedicated member of FOM.
