In 2011, When I was looking out to start my career, I came across the opening in The Max Foundation through a friend. I was interviewed by Amma and was formally introduced to Beenaji (Beena Narayanan), who has been a mentor for me throughout these years. As we were having the conversation, I was too positive about the role description was excited to get on board. I still bring same excitement to work every day and I am grateful to all who have helped me reach this stage in my career.
While everywhere around me people are busy assessing how 2020 has been for them, I spent a lot of time assessing the past decade. I divide them into two phases—the first five where I was a happily married woman, and the next five being a mother. Balancing between my personal life and professional life has always been my priority, and during this transformative journey, I realsied that I could manage any role. Life is speeding by—it has been almost a decade’s journey with this wonderful family— The Max Foundation. In September 2021 I will have completed 10 years at this organization, and I feel very happy and proud to be a part of this family.
