An honour and privilege for Friends of Max and its City Chapter Leaders to have been invited to represent patient advocates from India at the webinar session facilitated by the Common Sense Oncology (CSO) leadership group to review the Patient Charter draft- a framework to deliver outcomes that matter.
The webinar which was organized on April 20, 2024, and was chaired by Michelle Bieber Tregear , PhD, Chief Programs Officer, National Breast Cancer Coalition, Washington, and Christopher Jackson, Professor of Oncology, Medical Oncologist, from Dunedin, New Zealand, had Dr Manju Sengar, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India, giving the opening lecture to set the context for the need of such a patient charter and Viji Venkatesh , Region Head (India & South Asia), The Max Foundation and Managing Trustee, Friends of Max, also one of the Steering Committee Members of CSO.
