Abhishek Patidar and Amrita Patidar, City Chapter Leaders of FOM are our Patient Advocates of the month for November’19

This is the motto our Pune based husband and wife duo Abhishek and Amrita swear by and those who have met them describe the couple as strong willed, optimistic, fun-loving two people who exude happiness at all times.
Abhishek was born and raised in Indore while Amrita is our Pune girl. Both are key members of Friends of Max family and crucial to its activities in and around Pune. They are also our committed Chai for Cancer aficionados, making sure they organise and attend all the Addas in the region every year!
Our young couple considers FOM their extended family and share a special bond with all its members. They have never shied away from sharing their experiences or guiding others and offer their insights both as a patient (Abhishek) and as a caregiver (Amrita). Counselling other patients gives them joy and they recall how they met young Abdul from Jalgaon in a Patient Support Group Meeting held in Nashik few years ago. They have been in constant touch with him since helping him with his studies and now career.
They also believe in involving themselves in projects that brings positive change in people’s lives be it supporting a girl child’s education to actively participating in ‘Cauvery Calling’ Project.
Avid travellers, Abhishek loves capturing memories from behind his camera lenses and Amrita is passionate about cooking and baking. Both love spending time with their family members and were blessed with a baby boy two years back.
