Announcing Chai for Cancer

A Fundraising Project by MAX and Friends of Max.

Sunday May 11th 2014, all over India, when people raise their Cup of Chai, they will be drinking to a cause: the well-being of a cancer patient.

The project Chai for Cancer is a unique attempt to raise awareness in the community about the needs of cancer survivors as well as create an event that will be a fund raiser to provide vital support to the families facing a diagnosis of cancer. Under the aegis of this project, fund raiser gatherings will be held by members of the Friends of Max Trust www.friendsofmax.info<https://www.friendsofmax.info/> in various cities where over a cup of tea, awareness on cancer and the needs of cancer patients will be propagated. If you want to be a part of this project and attend one of the many Chai for Cancer Addas that is being held all over the country please write to chaiforcancer at gmail dot com and we will direct you to the location closest to you.

If you belong to our FOM family, you are part of the project because of your untiring commitment to FOM and to the amazing leadership you have given to the group in your region.

What you have to do:

Each one of you City Chapter Leader, volunteers to have a Chai ka Adda in your home or a venue of your choice on 11th May 2014.
You invite your friends and family to have Chai with you. For each cup of Chai served to them, your guests will donate to FOM a minimum of Rs 100/- . The maximum amount as donation is their choice.
They will all get an official receipt.
The Tea is being provided by Society Tea, who have promised their support for this cause.

All you have to volunteer is your time, your home and of course milk and sugar : ) and ensure you give your guests a good time .
