My dear Friends of Max
Life is a Journey, its roads and turns not clearly known to us in advance. Life is a Journey and yet, even in the midst of unpredictable events, we find beauty, we find love, and we find each other.
As cancer survivors and caregivers, we have the opportunity to discover another dimension of life, that of the gift of giving of ourselves unto others. As Friends of Max, we give each other hope, we give each other laughter, and we give a listening ear, a hand to hold and a light to shine through our journey. And we discover that it is in the giving that we grow and thrive.
I feel so proud to continue to participate and witness the growth of the Friends of Max. I see the chapters growing into their own identity and style, I see so many new faces and I am aware of how lucky we all are, to be part of this group.
Thank you Friends of Max for the strength you give me; thank you for shining a light in my journey; and thank you for carrying the memory of Max along for all of us to find peace.
